As a company, we are seeing more and more damage caused to alloy wheels by car wash companies using extremely harsh acid cleaners. These cleaners often eat into the paint, leading to discolouration, streaking and other marks.

The owner of this Subaru WRX had innocently asked for his car to be detailed, not expecting his wheels would be left with unsightly chemical streaking. He called on Pro Auto Repairs to fix the damage and we were able to do so within an afternoon. The driver of the Holden Cruz requested a full repaint in a vibrant new bright silver, and finished with a deep gloss clear coat. This brand-new Jaguar XE had an unfortunate incident with a curb within the first week on the road. This left the car with an unsightly gouge along the outside edge of one alloy wheel, ruining the new-car appearance.
