From humble beginnings

I started SMART Repairs, a mobile wheel repair business back in 2015 with almost no money. Having worked in the SMART auto repair sector in the UK, I saw an opportunity to bring mobile wheel repairs to people’s homes or offices.

Buying my first van from a hippie surfer!

After registering the business, I bought an old 1995 VW Transporter from a hippie surfer in Clovelly. It was a hunk of junk! I spent a lot of time fixing it up and kitting it out myself.

Building a reputation on service and quality

That hard work paid off. Soon word got around that you could get your wheels repaired at your place and that SMART Repairs was the way to go. I re-branded to Pro Auto Repairs, a name that reflect my ambitions to grow the business into more than just mobile wheel repairs.

Car Dealerships

My first car dealership customer was Mercedes-Benz Hornsby. They’re still one of my best clients! Soon more came on board and the business grew.

Pro Auto Repairs now have a fleet of 17 mobile repair vans, and we now do wheel and paint scratch repairs. Soon we’ll be doing even more mobile repairs.
